About Burein

Cloud fingerprinting is misaligned with the customer.

It forces every signal through a third party, exposes end-user data to a fourth party, breaks under MITM and restricted networks, and locks customers into someone else's black-box risk model. It made sense in 2014, when the device, the SDK runtime, and the ML capacity all looked very different.

In 2026, the SDK can do all of it on the device — including the model. The only reason a vendor would still route signals through a cloud is that the cloud is their billing surface.

Burein removes the cloud. The SDK is the entire product. Once embedded, the customer owns the data, the inference, and the decision. We bill for the right to embed Burein — not for the right to look at the customer's users.

What we believe

• Privacy posture should be a property of architecture, not contracts.
• The customer should own the inference, not the vendor.
• Detection logic should be inspectable to the customers who depend on it.
• "Zero egress" should be a verifiable property, not a marketing line.
• Risk decisions belong on the customer's critical path, not on a third party's uptime SLA.
